Oh hi, I’m the face behind Millicent Moonbug Editorial!

I’m a published author, professional book editor, historical researcher, and a lifelong lover of a good story.

For the last seven years I’ve worked with authors at all stages of the publishing process, helping bring more than 60 books closer to the finish line.

I hold both a BA and MA in History and if historical research and writing teaches you anything, it’s to look at how closely the little pieces of a story fit together. (And being a perfectionist doesn’t hurt either.)

But in all seriousness, being an editor isn’t about calling you out for your mistakes. You’re trusting me with something you’ve spent months or years creating and I take that seriously. I want to use my skills to make your book stronger without taking away your author voice.

That’s why I give your manuscript the same attention I’d want someone to give mine. Whether you’re getting ready to self-publish or query, I’d love to help you get ready for whatever step is next.
